For 17 years, The Parent Pages metro DC has strived to meet the needs of area parents and educators. Some call The Parent Pages their "Survival Guide." We like that, and we hope you agree that the information included on this site and in our print directory is about the most complete list of parent resources you'll find.
The web has changed our world in so many ways, most importantly, in the way we gather information. As internet speed has improved, we have come to rely on the web as our first answer source. Print directories sometimes sound outdated. However, I'm excited to say that the parents I talk with love the convenience of a printed, portable phonebook. Of course, they also enjoy checking out our site for the latest information!
Each year, we tweak and improve The Parent Pages metro DC adjusting to parent needs and current trends. For 2010, we increased the Newcomers Guide pages and included informational articles. In addition to the usual 'set up' contact info, you'll find some wonderful lists of local activities for families - Welcome to Washington! This is a sourcebook full of resources for families at all stages of development, from new baby to elder care, both new and long time residents! We have more exciting changes in store....keep your eye out! Our new name is just the beginning!
